Q. What time can we check in to our room?
A. we guarantee rooms available from 15:00.
Q. Can I check in early?
A. Early check in and check out are available on request subject to availability on the day. A supplement will be charged at £10 per hour.
Q. What time do we need to check out?
A. The rooms will need to be vacated by 11:00am, however you can stay and use the facilities and we will store luggage for you. Alternatively we may be able to offer a later check out subject to availability, chargeable at £10 per hour.
Q. Do you have a lift?
A. The Mansion House does not have a lift and all rooms are up one or two stair cases. This part of the building consists of Doubles, Deluxe Doubles, Mansion House Features and Suites. The West Wing Does have a lift to each floor and we also have ground floor or accessible rooms in this part of the hotel.
Q. I am attending a Wedding/Event, Can I check in early?
A. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the rooms ready before 15:00. However we do provide a changing room for all guests to use and Reception can store luggage safely for you.
Q. I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
A. You must go through the booking agent/website that you went through in order to change your reservation.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. The cancellation policy will depend on the rate plan that you booked, details can be found on your booking/email confirmation.
Q. Do you have a restaurant?

A. We serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in The Grill Room. Breakfast is served weekdays from 07:.00-9:30, Weekends from 08:00-10:30. Lunch is served daily from 12.30 until 15.00, dinner 18.30 – 21.30 Sunday to Thursday and 18.30 – 22.00 Friday and Saturday.

Q. Is there a dress code in your restaurants and bars?
A. The dress code in our restaurants, bars and public areas is smart/casual.
Q. Are you a pet friendly hotel?

A. We have a small percentage of rooms suitable for pets. The pet fee charge is £20 per night and includes a water bowl and snacks. Our grounds are extensive and each of the pet friendly rooms have double doors leading onto an external area within the grounds. Pets are allowed in our lounges and on our outdoor restaurant terrace. We do not allow pets in our Grill Room restaurant or Ibbetsons. 

Q. I need to book a taxi to/from your hotel, can you do you do this for me?

A. We can do this for you or you can contact our recommended company direct:

We would advise to pre book the taxi if possible or we can try to book on the day for you.

Q. Do you have a spa? When is it open?
A. We do have The Eden Spa. It is open daily from 10:00-20:00.
Bookings for treatments and wet spa are required, you can contact them direct 01279732105. You must be 18 years or older to use the wet spa.
Q. What leisure facilities can I use when staying at the hotel?
A. The hotel offers complimentary use of the Tennis courts, Gym, Sauna and Steam room. It is located in the West Wing of the Hotel the code to enter is available at reception.
Guests can also pay and additional fee of £20 per person for 2 hours use of the Eden Spa facilities, Including Hydrotherapy pool, Sauna, Steam Room, relaxation areas and experience showers. This is payable at the spa and I would advise you to book in advance.
